GUIDE FOR OUR HU-GO CUSTOMERS
In case of payment in advance, registered users can top up their account created in the course of the registration in advance. The system automatically deducts the fee for the distance traveled from the balance on the account if the data transfer is carried out with an on-board unit, and in case of buying relational tickets the balance is reduced by the cost of the ticket as well. The balance can be topped up by paying at points of sale (with bank card, fuel card, cash) or through this website with a bank card. The balance can be topped up by bank transfer as well.
If you did not register in the HU-GO system, you are entitled to buy relational tickets only. The fee for road usage can be paid in person at the points of sale (with cash, bank card, fuel card, etc.) or through this website with a bank card.
Returning relational tickets
Only registered users are entitled to return relational tickets purchased in advance by signing in to their user account. It is important to note that tickets can be returned up to 24:00 on the day before the validity period of the ticket at the latest. If registered users wish to return a relational ticket, they need to sign in to their user account and the full amount of the road toll displayed on the ticket will be credited to their balance. No cash will be returned for returned relational tickets.
Validity of relational tickets
So-called ad hoc relational tickets purchased without registration are valid from the time of payment until 24:00 on the next calendar day, i.e. ad hoc tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
Registered users are entitled to purchase relational tickets in advance, whereby the start of the validity period can be no later than the 30th calendar day after the purchase of the relational ticket. In case of advanced purchase, the validity period of the ticket starts at 00:00 on the day indicated by the buyer as starting date and ends at 24:00 on the following calendar day. If the time of purchase and the start of the validity period are the same, the ticket is valid from the time of payment until 24:00 of the next calendar day, like in the case of ad hoc relational tickets.
It is important to note, that in line with relevant registration the journey must be started on the first day of the validity period irrespective of the method of purchase.
Recommended in case of frequent road usage – on-board unit
If you use road sections subject to payment obligation frequently, then we recommend using the on-board unit for the data transfer. Among others, service providers offering fleet monitoring services (so called data transfer aids) in contractual relationship with the National Toll Payment Services Plc. provide on-board units.
If you already possess an on-board unit,
you can view the list of data transfer aids>> or obtain information personally from your fleet monitoring service provider. If your fleet monitoring service provider is in contractual relationship with the National Toll Payment Services Plc., i.e. it is on the above mentioned list, then you can register your on-board unit in the system. Alternatively, you will have to choose a different fleet monitoring service provider who is in contractual relationship with the National Toll Payment Services Plc.
If you do not have an on-board unit, or are in contractual relationship with a fleet monitoring service provider who is not on the above mentioned list,
then you can purchase the on-board unit able to carry out data transfer at numerous points of sale, which are listed at the homepages of the fleet monitoring service providers, or you can obtain information about them directly from data transfer aids. On-board units able to carry out data transfer regarding the road usage can be purchased from fleet monitoring service providers in a contractual relationship with the National Toll Payment Services Plc.
From January 1, 2014 OBUs can be purchased at the customer service centers of the National Toll Payment Services Plc. as well.
Recommended in case of occasional road use – relational ticket
If you would like to use roads subject to road toll payment only occasionally, but you plan your routes in advance, we recommend purchasing relational tickets. You can plan your journey here>> , or use the journey planner devices (journey planner point or computer) at points of sale and customer service centers marked with a HU-GO sticker. In the course of journey planning in addition to the starting and end point of the journey, and the four points of contact, you must enter the main data of the vehicle (license plate number, country code, environmental category, number of axles, size) as well.

Relational tickets are valid for the planned journey and are meant for a single use of a certain road in one direction only. Tickets must be purchased before starting the route subject to road toll payment.
Tickets purchased by non-registered users are valid from the time of purchase until the end of the following calendar day and cannot be returned. Registered users can purchase relational tickets in advance as well within 30 calendar days before starting the use of the road; such tickets are valid from 00:00 until 24:00 on the following day. Tickets purchased in such manner can be returned until 24 hours before the start of the planned validity period of the ticket at the latest.
In case of returned relational tickets, the amount returned will be credited to the balance of the registered user.
